Hajj Operation 2025 to begin from Karachi Airport on April 29

Hajj Operation 2025 is set to commence with the departure of the first Hajj flight from Jinnah International Airport, Karachi, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported on Wednesday.
According to Deputy Director Hajj Karachi, the inaugural flight will take off on April 29, 2025, at 10:15 pm, heading towards Madina Munawwara, carrying 285 pilgrims aboard Serene Air flight ER-1611.
On April 30, Airblue will operate its first Hajj flight at 3:40 am, transporting 148 pilgrims to the holy city, as shared by Gulzar Soomro, Deputy Director Hajj.
The first Hajj flight by Saudi Airlines (Flight 3701) is scheduled for May 1, departing at 9:15 am with 365 pilgrims onboard.
PIA will launch its first Hajj flight on May 2 at 5:55 am, carrying 393 pilgrims, added Gulzar Soomro.
All initial Hajj flights will land at Madina Munawwara Airport, the official confirmed. However, from May 14, 2025, the flights will primarily be directed to Jeddah Airport, while some flights will continue to land in Madina, according to the Hajj Directorate.
The Karachi Hajj Directorate and all relevant departments are fully prepared to ensure a dignified and smooth departure for pilgrims. Authorities are committed to providing every possible facility to the Hujjaj, assured Gulzar Soomro.
