The National Assembly Secretariat has imposed a ban on the entry of three retired officers into the Parliament House due to allegations of tampering with the decisions of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) and leaking sensitive information.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the sources said an inquiry has also been ordered against retired Additional Secretary Fayaz Shah, retired Deputy Secretary Sharafat Ali, and retired Deputy Secretary Inam-ul-Haq.

The sources said the three retired officers are accused of altering PAC records. Additionally, Fayaz Shah is alleged to have exerted political pressure on the Speaker to extend his employment after retirement.

The sources said the National Assembly Secretariat will decide on further action against these officers if the allegations are proven.

As per the channel report, photos of the three retired officers have been provided to security personnel to stop them from entering Parliament House.
