Punjab CM announces no traffic challan of citizens holding licence token

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a surprise visit to Police Service Center Liberty late night and inspected the traffic licence making system, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
During his visit Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi met citizens at the service center and asked them about issues and problems in getting a licence.
Citizens piled up their complaints saying that they have to wait for many hours standing in queues.
Mohsin Naqvi called to Director General (DG) Punjab Information Technology Board on the spot and directed to improve the system and send a team to the service center immediately.
On the occasion the CM announced that there will be no challan on the license token for three days.
Mohsin Naqvi assured the citizens regarding the redressal of the complaints for the delay.
The citizens thanked Mohsen Naqvi for his personal interest in solving driving license issues.
He said that there should be no delay in getting driving license and the process of making a driving license should be completed as soon as possible.
He warned that unnecessary delay in the process of making licenses will not be tolerated.
