Dengue infects 108 more in Islamabad

Dengue cases are on rise in the federal capital as 108 more people were infected by the virus in Islamabad during the last 24 hours (Saturday), taking the city’s total number of cases to 3,094, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Statistics show that out of 108 cases, 63 were recorded in rural areas and 45 in urban areas. The disease has already claimed the lives of seven people in the federal capital.
Yesterday, 37 people were diagnosed with the virus in PIMS Hospital, 10 in Holy Family and 44 from private laboratories.
