The initial report of the Joint Inquiry Team (JIT) regarding the negative social media campaign on the tragic incident of the army helicopter crash has been submitted to the Ministry of Interior, reported 24 News HD TV Channel Wednesday.

According to the sources, the investigation of the inquiry committee about the social media campaign against the martyrs is going on.

The social media campaign against the Pakistan Army was run and spread from Pakistan as well as India and other countries, the report said

The committee has so far identified 774 tweets, and 237 handles that were involved in the campaign, sources said.

Of the 237 handles, 204 were operated from Pakistan, 17 from India, and 16 from other countries, the report said.

Data of 78 persons have been sent to Nadra for verification while at least six persons involved in the social media campaign have been identified, the investigation report said.
