ECP fines Bilawal, Sindh CM over code of conduct violations

The Election Commission of Pakistan Friday imposed a fine of Rs50000 on Pakistan People’s Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari over the violation of ECP’s code of conduct.

A day after ECP fined PTI’s federal minister Ali Ameen Gandapur, the commission also imposed a fine of Rs50000 on Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah.

Others who were also fined Rs50000 each for the code of conduct violations include MNA Khursheed Shah, Sindh Minister Saeed Ghani and MNA Qadir Patel.

The ECP also issued a warning to Nighat Orakzai.
