KP to have Cyber Security Institute

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur chaired a meeting on establishing the Cyber Security Institute in Peshawar.
The provincial education minister and officials concerned attended the meeting that decided the institute would be established in the existing building.
The meeting was briefed that from graduates to PhD-level programmes will be launched at the Cyber Security Institute.
Gandapur issued directives to utilise all-out resources to make it a state-of-the-art institute.
He stressed: “The Cyber Security Institute is the need of the hour and work should be started without delay.
“The provincial government will provide all required resources for this purpose on a priority basis.
“There is immense potential in the IT sector that needs to be fully utilised.”
He promised: “Such class cyber security institutes will be established at the divisional level as well.
“Providing education and training to the youth following the requirements of the modern age is among the priorities of the provincial government.
“There is immense talent among the youth of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the present provincial government will provide opportunities for them in all fields.”
