At least five people belonging to same family died and three others were injured in a dreadful road accident, sources said on Tuesday.

According to details, a vehicle carrying wedding guests from Bhag Nari to Goth Jamra Jalal Khan got out of control due to over speeding and turned turtle.

Three people including Abdul Rehman 13, s/o Abdul Ghani, Sajjad Ali 12, s/o Muhammad Anwar Umar and Humaira Bibi 14, d/o Jamaluddin died on the spot while five others sustained wounds.

The bodies and injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Bhag from where the injured were referred to Jaccobabad and Larkana due to critical condition but two more wounded people succumbed to their wounds on the way raising death toll to five.

Funeral prayers of the deceased were offered at Goth Jamra and thousands of people attended the funeral prayers after which they were laid to rest at local graveyard. An environment of grief gripped the area over sudden death of five family members.
