Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif left his son Hasan Nawaz’s office, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers in London bade him farewell.

Nawaz Sharif had a brief interaction with Gulfam Hussain, who alone went to PTI protests and raised slogans in favour of PML-N. The former prime minister praised him.

Nawaz is all set to make a comeback to Pakistan in the ongoing month and the PML-N has finalised preparations to accord him a warm welcome.

A couple of days ago, Nawaz met Pakistani journalists in London and expressed his gratitude to them persons for coverage during his stay abroad.

“I am grateful to all the journalists who wrote for and against me. This is my last day at the office here.”

He urged media persons to discharge duty with responsibility, saying: “Journalism has an important role in society. People value their opinions, they should refrain from blackmailing, backbiting and slander.”
