No Banigala shifting offer made to Imran Khan, says Kh Asif

Refuting PTI’s claims that an offer had been made to the former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan to shift him from Adiala Jail, Rawalpindi to his Banigala residence in Islamabad, Defence Minister Khawaja Asif said on Saturday there was no truth in these claims, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking to the media in Sialkot, he, while accusing the PTI of orchestrating plans against the country, said that every party plan had flopped. “However, efforts are underway to ensure there is political stability in the country,” he added.
The defence minister further said that all indicators were showing that the country’s economy was heading in a right direction. “It is impossible that overseas Pakistanis will stop sending remittances to the country at the request of the PTI founder,” Asif said.
