Couple in Lahore booked for killing their 10-year-old maid

Police in Hanjarwal area of Lahore on Saturday registered an FIR against the owners of a house for torturing their 10-year-old maid which resulted in her death, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
As per the FIR, Nosheen Farrukh and Farrukh Butt tortured Sonia due to which she got seriously injured. “But instead of taking her to a hospital, they told her parents that she had received a minor injury in her arm.”
“But when Sonia’s parents sent one of their relatives to Lahore to inquire about the situation, he found both husband and wife beating up the little girl with sticks. When her parents reached from Arifwala, they found their child lying dead on the floor,” read the FIR.
Rabia, the mother of the deceased, told the police that Nosheen and her husband had killed her daughter because she did not work well. “They even did not take her to a hospital, which led to her death,” she added.
Rabia appealed to the police high-ups provide her justice.
