A woman has come under an acid attack in the Kotwali police limits in Bahawalpur district in Punjab, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
Police and rescuers rushed to the site and took the vicitm to a hospital.
Police have registered a case and launhed a hunt for the attack.
Bahawalpur District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Muhammad Abbas formed a special task force.
He vowed to bring to book the culprit.
Police are piecing together evidence.
