As the campaigns got momentum for the upcoming AJK general elections, Prime Minister Imran Khan has decided to hold public gatherings on July 17,18, and 19 in AJK, reported 24News HD TV channel on Monday.
All the political parties are engaged in election campaigns these days as PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz and PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto are leading campaigns to attract the voters for their respective parties while on the other hand PTI’s Murad Saeed and Ali Amin Gandapur are also present in AJK for electioneering.
Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid has been contacting the voters of AJK through telephone but he could not get a positive response. The minister has said that he will go to AJK with PM Khan. He announced the PM schedule for the AJK election campaign and claimed that PTI would form the government in AJK on July 25.
The PM’s visit to AJK will be a tough test for the chief election commissioner, who had already written a letter reminding the PM regarding the code of conduct.
