Of 156 passengers, who arrived at Peshawar’s Bacha Khan Airport from Dubai on Saturday, 34 tested positive for the coronavirus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The flight coming from Dubai landed at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) capital’s airport after 12:00 in the afternoon.
Airport officials told the media that those who tested positive had been sent to the quarantine centre.
Lady constables
Six lady constables were suspended in Bannu after they refused to get vaccinated.
According to an order issued by the Bannu District Police Officer, the lady constables were suspended after they turned down receiving vaccine doses.
The order also said that the salaries of these constables were also withheld.
