Govt working to raise Shuhada Package from Rs3m to Rs10m: Interior Minister Naqvi

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi has said that the federal government was working to enhance the Shuhada Package from Rs3 million to Rs10 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing the jawans at FC Training Center in Shab Qadr, Charsadda in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Federal Minister said that compensation of RS10 million was not a substitute for life. Naqvi urged the jawans to shun lingual differences and behave as true Pakistanis.
He told the jawans, “you are neither Pathan nor Punjabi nor Balochi and not Sindhi, you are all Pakistanis”. He urged them to think as Pakistani which will guarantee success. Interior Minister lauded “FC that was needed at all times and everywhere.”
On the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that the jawans who were laying their lives for the sovereignty and security of the country were the real heroes of the nation. He said that the government and the security forces were committed to eradicating terrorism from the country. He said, “FC jawans were always ready for security, law and order and other duties”.
He said FC has provided support to every sector in difficult times. Commandant FC Moazzam Jah Ansari and other senior officials welcomed the Interior Minister on the occasion.
