CDA bans littering of garbage in city except designated places

The administration's big decision to keep Islamabad clean as Capital Development Authority (CDA) has banned littering of garbage in the city except in designated places, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Littering of construction debris on streets, green belts, waterways, or public places has also been banned.
Littering of shopping bags and garbage on highways from vehicles during travel is also banned.
Setting garbage on fire will also be punished severely, and a heavy fine will be imposed.
Violators can be fined and sentenced without issuing a notice.
