Punjab Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi Friday summoned an emergency meeting of the governing body of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) after signing the summary for dissolving the assembly, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Despite the court orders to suspend the implementation of the master plan, building offices in other districts of the division is part of the agenda.
Giving two basic salaries to the LDA officers in return for making the master plan is also part of the agenda.
Despite the clear court orders on the master plan, the LDA added these two agendas.
The agenda of giving free state land of Kot Lakhpat Mandi, acquired for Rs2 billion, is included.
It is to be noted here that the land of Kot Lakhpat Mandi is illegally being given to the Health Department on the demand of the health minister.
The agenda of giving two valuable plots of Rachna Block, Iqbal Town, for the Local Government Community Centre on the request of the local government minister is included.
It merits a mention here that Plot 50A1 and Plot 50A2 will be given to the Local Government Community Centre.
The agenda of construction and maintenance of important highways in the city with Rs1.5 billion is included.
The chief minister has already called the meeting three times during the ongoing year.
The officers concerned were directed to be on alert at three o'clock for an emergency meeting of the LDA governing body.
After Friday prayers, the meeting will be held at 8 Club Road.
