ACE nabs PTI Sahiwal president outside jail in corruption case

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sahiwal district president Rana Aftab Ahmed was re-arrested after being released from the central jail.
An anti-corruption team arrested Rana Aftab from outside Central Jail Sahiwal and shifted him to the civil line police station.
According to the FIA, the arrested built several illegal colonies in connivance with the officials, costing the national exchequer dearly.
A spokesperson for the Anti-Corruption Establishment in Punjab said that the operation against corruption has been underway across the province.
The PTI office-bearer, Rana Aftab, was arrested for causing the loss of millions of rupees to the national exchequer, the ACE officials said, adding that the arrested robbed the people by creating illegal housing schemes.
