Dacoit killed, three held in Raiwind police encounter

A dacoit died and three others were arrested in a police encounter on Lahore Road, Raiwind, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to police, the dacoits had set up a picket, and they were robbing citizens of valuables on the road.
On information, a police team reached the spot. An exchange of fire occurred between police and the dacoits.
One of the dacoits was killed in firing by the police. Three dacoits were arrested while two of their accomplices managed to flee away.
The shootout between police and the dacoits sent a wave of shock and fear among the residents of the area.
The deceased robber was identified as Tanveer alias Guddu. Those who had been arrested were identified as Ali Hassan, Arshad alias Ichu, and Sufyan alias Sippi.
Raiwind police launched further investigations after the arrest of three dacoits.
