The Sindh government has named Sarah Javed as the province's first-ever female Christian Deputy Commissioner in Sanghar District.
Assigned to lead Sanghar district, this appointment signifies a remarkable step towards greater representation and inclusivity within Pakistan’s civil service.
According to an official notification from the Chief Secretary Sindh, an officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS) in Grade 18, Sarah Javed, has been transferred from her role as Deputy Secretary at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat. She is set to take charge as Collector/Deputy Commissioner in Sanghar with immediate effect.
