Criticizing the Supreme Court’s detailed judgement that set aside the April 3 ruling of then deputy speaker National Assembly that dismissed the no-confidence motion against then prime minister Imran Khan, former information minister and PTI leader Fawad Chaudhry termed the verdict full of errors, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a presser in Lahore on Thursday, Fawad Ch said that the apex court ignored the ground realities while giving its judgement. He said that the judges should have taken notice of the sale of people that was going on in the Sindh House.
He was of the view that future would decide whether the judgement would be appreciated or not.
He also stated that if the investigation was held on cypher, then a debate would be held on it. “But many people do not want to launch a probe into the cypher,” the PTI leader said adding that the wise people were aware why the cypher would not be investigated which would reveal how an elected prime minister was removed.
Fawad lamented that the Supreme Court’s judgements had no history of being widely acclaimed. But he hoped that ‘the decision will be taken by the revolutionary vote as it has happened in Sri Lanka’. He said that the nation was ready for revolution.
He decried that people who were leading Pakistan these days, were a disgrace to nation. He said that ‘fraudsters’ were ruling and they thought that people were foolish.
On fuel prices, Fawad said that petrol price should be cut to Rs150/litre. “If government slashes petrol price, we will welcome it,” he added.
