Suicide by Indian actor Sushant Singh Rajput days after the death of legendary Rishi Kapoor, versatile Irrfan Khan and great music director Wajid Khan left the fraternity in shock and awe.
Born on January 21, 1986, Sushant made a name for himself in television serials before moving on to Bollywood, making his film debut in the buddy drama Kai Po Che (2013). The 34 years old actor was known for his hit movies like Kedarnath, Kai Po Che, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and TV series Pavitra Rishta. He was found hanging at his Mumbai home on Sunday. A few days earlier, Sushant’s former manager Disha Salian committed suicide.
As the news of Sushant’s death broke out, several celebrities took to twitter to express their feelings about the actor’s untimely death and the nepotism in the Indian film industry.
Urmila Matondkar wrote on twitter, “In an industry deeply ruled by Nepotism, it takes tremendous amount of hard work n talent to make a mark like you did..Such a pity you decided to make an exit so soon. Rest in peace ????????. #ripsushant #tragic #SushantSinghRajput”
