Electricity tariff increased by 19 paisas per unit

The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (Nepra) has approved an increase of 19 paisas per unit in electricity tariff, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Nepra sanctioned the increase in the power rate in connection with fuel adjustment charges for the month of August.
The raise in in electricity prices will not impact the lifeline and K-Electric consumers.
Tariff reduced by Rs4.89 for KE consumers
The Nepra has also issued a notification approving a decrease of Rs4.89 in power tariff in connection with monthly fuel adjustment charges for K-Electric consumers.
