Imran Khan’s video link bail hearing hits technical snag

An additional district and session judge in Islamabad has ordered the staff of the court to confirm the video link in hearing of bail in six cases of riots against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
The hearing of the case has been adjourned for the time being. The court staff will now contact the prison authorities to request the PTI founder's appearance via video link.
The case was heard by Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Afzal Majuka. Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry appeared in court on behalf of the founder of PTI and Bushra Bibi.
Today, the founder of PTI is expected to be produced in the court as per court orders, lawyer Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry told the court.
