Mullah Baradar greets Afghan nation on victory

Taliban top leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar has congratulated the Afghan nation on the success of the Taliban in Afghanistan, reported 24News HD TV channel on Monday.

In an interview, Mullah Baradar said that he wanted to congratulate the people of Afghanistan especially the residents of Kabul. He said they did not hope to get success so easily, adding that it all became possible with the help of Allah. He said we could not find another example of success like this in the history of the world.
Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar further said that today some proud people had bitten the dust. He said now as they gained success, the difficult time had come for them (the Taliban) as they had to restore peace and bring happiness to the people of Afghanistan. He said they would do their best to establish peace in Afghanistan.

Taliban’s top leader Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar is likely to be declared as Afghanistan’s new President.

Baradar is one of the co-founders of the Taliban, who now heads the political office of the Taliban and is part of the negotiating team that the group has in Doha.
