Chairlift snapped, fell into river in Mansehra

The gushing water of River Sindh swept away three people after the rope of a chairlift they were sitting in to go across snapped and it fell into the river in Upper Kohistan area of Mansehra on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to police, the chairlift is being lifted out of the water with the help of a crane while rescue teams were at the site to search the three riders of the chairlift.

The police identified the three chairlift riders as Naseeb son of Manzar, Sher son of Qaisar and Fida son of Mir Alam, all residents of Kahgah Dasu.
