Accused dies in police custody in Sakrand

A SHO and three other policemen were arrested after an accused Nawaz Zardari died in police custody due to severe torture, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Police registered a first information report (FIR) on behalf of the deceased’s brother.
As per the FIR, the accused died due to physical torture, as signs of iron burn injuries and torture with sticks were visible on the victim’s body.
DSP, SHO, including three other policemen, were nominated in the FIR. Further investigation was underway.
