Crooks always find novel ways to amass ill-gotten wealth by indulging in fraud and scams. One such case of fraud was reported from Munkeera, Hyderabad where the national identity card of a poor man was used to purchase sugar worth Rs25 million, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Reportedly, a poor labourer, Munawwar Hussain, came on Federal Board of Revenue’s radar for purchasing sugar worth Rs25 million using his ID card. The board issued him a notice on the bulk purchase of the commodity.

The poor soul was dumbfounded after receiving the FBR notice. He said he was a poor citizen unable to buy even 5 kilos of sugar, ‘how come, I could purchase sugar worth Rs25 million’.
