The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Monday arrested an alleged woman suicide bomber—a member of Balochistan Liberation Army Majeed Brigade— who wanted to target the Chinese nationals on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) route in Turbat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
CTD teams recovered detonators and blast related material from the accused.
CTD said they have continued their series of raids and operation to nab the network of suicide bombers.
The women who has been taken into custody belong to the same Majeed Brigade whose woman suicide bomber Sharri Baloch killed three Chinese nationals outside Karachi University.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari Saturday said that the whole Pakistani nation stands in solidarity with the affected Chinese families and vowed that those behind the Karachi University attack will not be forgiven.
The foreign minister was speaking at a condolence reference held at the Foreign Office for the Chinese nationals who were killed in a suicide attack last month at the KU's Confucius Institute.
