Four Pakistani players win title at Australian Junior Open Squash Championship

Four Pakistani players have won titles at the Australian Junior Open Squash Championship including two sisters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

Four Pakistani players performed brilliantly and won titles.

The girls’ U-13 and U-17 titles were won by two sisters, Mahnoor and Mehwish Ali. In the U-13 final, Mahnoor Ali defeated Rio Kawabata by 11-2, 11-5 and 11-6.

Mahnour’s elder sister Mehwish won the U-17 title. Mehwish defeated Aiden Elma by 11-5, 11-5 and 11-7 while in the girls’ U-15 final, Mahnoor and Mehwish’s sister Sehrish lost after a tough competition.

In the Boys U-17 category, Pakistan's Azan Ali Khan defeated Henry Cross by 3-0 to win the title. In the Boys U-11 category, Pakistan's Ahmed Ali Naz defeated Freddie Goldsmith.
