Minister for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb has said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan cannot dare to dissolve the two provincial assemblies, reported 24NewsHD Tv channel.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Saturday, she said no dates but courage is needed to dissolve assemblies.  She vowed that Imran Khan would not dissolve the assemblies as he is just trying to divert the attention from his Toshakhana and foreign funding cases.

Reacting to the PTI chief’s remarks, she said that Imran Khan has become insane after ousting out from power and his mayhem, whining, and shrieking are meant to get a National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) like a concession to save his skin in the corruption cases.

“The people know what the two parties (PML-N and PPP) have done, and what the PTI has done for them and the country”.

The minister said that Imran Khan has fully exposed before the nation,” The minister asked Imran Khan why he did not prove even a single allegation of corruption levelled by him against political opponents. “Why did he fail to produce evidence before the courts to justify his allegations?” she questioned.

Marriyum Aurangzeb said Imran Khan is trying to destabilize the economy of the country which has been put in the right direction by the coalition government after burning the midnight oil.

There was nothing new in the speech of Imran Khan and he wasted precious time of the media and general public, she added.

The Information Minister said Imran Khan staged drama of cipher in the country and all this fuss is to divert the attention from the Toshakhana case.

She said the PTI Chief is mourning over his compromise on Pakistan's sovereignty, independence, and economy by accepting illegal foreign funding.

The Minister, while castigating Imran Khan, said that four years of PTI rule were an example of inefficiency, incompetence, and lies.

She said Imran Khan abused opponents, launched a malicious campaign against martyrs and instigated a revolt against state institutions.

Marriyum dared Imran Khan to tell the people how he had pushed the country into an economic quagmire while looting the national exchequer with impunity. “It is a question mark as to why he was in a hurry or so much worried (for election)”.

She said the PTI leader seemed to be ‘mentally disturbed’ as he was naming his opponents as thieves and also calling upon his workers to strive for the ‘Haqeeqi Azadi’ (real freedom). The real freedom would only be achieved when the country would get rid of the foreign agent”, she added.

She said that Imran Khan knows that if the power goes away, theft and robberies will come to light.  Imran Khan used Zakat money for his personal purposes, adds Maryam Aurangzeb.

The minister criticized that if there was no authority, why not dissolve the assemblies at that time and if Gen Bajwa made a conspiracy, why did they offer him an extension?

“If KP Assembly is broken, nine years of corruption will come to public, she added.
