Fazlur Rehman wants Maulana Adil’s killers arrested

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (Fazl) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that Karachi has been bathed in blood for a long time.
He was talking to media in Karachi on Saturday. He condemned the killing of Maulana Adil Khan and expressed serious concerns over law and order situation of the city. The killers have not yet been arrested, he added.
Maulana Fazl said such incidents created an atmosphere of fear in the city. Today, he said, all clerics feel unprotected. If the country is to be run, it must be run under the law and the constitution, he added. He said that nation could not afford such incidents.
The JUI-F chief said that people had been fed up with this government because of their poor policies. People are depressed due to inflation in the country, he added.
Talking about Gujranwala rally, he said it was a good start. Tomorrow’s Karachi meeting would also prove to be a historic one, he added. He said that this movement against the government would spread across the country soon. The government will not be able to sustain the pressure of the public, he opined.
