Dolphin officer martyred in Lahore

A Dolphin officer was martyred by unknown motorcyclists in Defense C area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.
The martyred Dolphin officer has been identified as Qasim.
According to the police, Dolphin officer Qasim reached his village Dera Chal after finishing his duty where unknown motorcyclists were lying in ambush who shot directly at Dolphin officer Qasim.
A critically injured Qasim passed away while he was being shifted to the hospital.
According to police, the armed men left the motorcycle at the scene and escaped.
DIG Operations Afzal Kausar has taken the notice of the incident and sought a report from SP Cantt Isa Sukhira within 24 hours.
Police have started investigations on the lines of long-standing enmity, robbery and other aspects.
