Suspension of int’l, domestic flight operations extended till April 30

The federal government has decided to extend the suspension of international and domestic flight operations till April 30.
The move was in line with the national strategy to stem the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
In a press release issued in Islamabad on Saturday, a spokesman for the Aviation Division said “As per the decision of the Government of Pakistan, the suspension of international and domestic flight operations as effected earlier has been extended up to Thursday, April 30, this year at 2359 hours PST.”

The spokesman further said that the remaining provisions as applicable to the suspension of international and domestic flights, reflected in the previous orders, would remain unchanged.
Pakistan had suspended international flights operation on March 21 in view of the coronavirus pandemic.
