Sources in the country’s security forces have rejected reports doing rounds on social media that several PTI protestors were killed as a result of shelling by the law-enforcement agencies (LEAs) personnel during the operation conducted on Islamabad’s Jinnah Avenue last night, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
They have said that such reports are false and baseless and opined that this was all part of the PTI’s efforts to cover up its mistakes.
Simply, there is no truth in them, they have said it categorically.
On the other hand, the management of the Polyclinic Hospital has strongly rejected reports doing rounds on social media about deaths and injuries to PTI workers during clashes with the law-enforcement agencies personnel in Islamabad.
The management termed such news as part of propaganda.
It appealed to the public to get any such news verified from the hospital.
