Head constable martyred in DI Khan gun attack

A police head constable embraced martyrdom while aa citizen was critically injured when some unidentified people opened fire on their vehicle in Dera Ismail Khan on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources said that the firing incident occurred when the SHO of Chaudhwan Police Station Qasim Khan was going to appear in a local court as a witness. The SHO was travelling in his private vehicle.
The SHO was heading towards Dera at the time of firing incident which claimed the life of Head Constable Javed.
Earlier on March 18, 2025, security forces foiled a terrorist attack on Daraban Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan while a policeman embraced martyrdom when unidentified accused targeted him.
According to details, terrorists attacked Daraban Police Station from different sides. After heavy exchange of firing which lasted about 45 minutes, the terrorists escaped from the scene.
In another terror hit, a police constable embraced martyrdom when gunmen targeted him on Chashma Road in DI Khan.
The martyred policeman was identified as Mohammad Ali, who was performing security duty with a DSP.
Sources said that the policeman was heading to his home in Paharpur when he was shot dead.
