Bilawal said, “You defeated those hypocritical politicians who were trying to create a distance between me and the workers. The victory sent them a clear message that the people of this province still stand with Benazir Bhutto”.
He said the people of Umerkot have proven that the people of this province reject canals. He added,”Whenever we come out for any movement, we definitely come to the historical city of Hyderabad. Hyderabad has proven today and made it clear that it stands with the PPP, Shaheed Bibi and me. We are not the ones who say Pakistan is a khape”.
He said when Zulfikar Bhutto was martyred, people in Lahore had burnt themselves in protest.
Bilawal Bhutto said Benazir Bhutto was the chain of the federation, everyone stood with her. When Benazir Bhutto was martyred, some people tried to raise slogans of revolt. But at that time President Zardari raised the slogan of Pakistan Khappay to save the country and restored democracy.
