Pakistani influencer Adnan Zafar aka Ken Doll has appeared on Ahmad Ali Butt’s show ‘Excuse Me’ where he disclosed some "unknown facts" about his life and the struggles he did in his childhood.
In a candid conversation with the host, Pakistan’s first Ken Doll shared that he came from a broken family and faced many struggles in his childhood.
Adnan further revealed how coming from a broken family shapes you.
Here are the exact words of the influencer:
“I was raised by a single mother and our mother took a very big step, she opened a salon and she worked hard for us. What I am today is I believe it’s all because of her courage and strength… we are just like best friends.”
Ken also spoke about the harassment he faced.
“I was afraid and was not comfortable going out openly because I faced several times that people harassed me and got close to me for wrong purposes. To protect myself I decided not to go out and to stay at home.”
The host asked him a question that how he managed to face the backlash over his transformation into Ken Doll, to which he replied:
“I am not doing anything wrong but people always find something to bully me. I am not growing my hair long or acting like a girl. Man is always known through his earning or respect he gives to women. If having a mustache represents you as a man then many animals like mice and dogs have mustaches too.”
Ken Doll added that the person who is the happiest always has a broken background but it also gives you an advantage to be more creative and career oriented.
He stated the reason behind this:
“Your parents who gave you birth when they got separated is the biggest hardship of one’s life. Life without a father is very tough you have all the world’s aggression on your shoulder.”
Adnan also talked about the relatives that they did not support in tough times as he had to work on his own to make life better.
Moreover, talking about childhood, he said that it was not a normal childhood like playing with dolls or kids. He had to worry about his future.
