Aliya Hamza's bail plea adjourned till April 22

The bail petition of Aliya Hamza, the chief organiser of PTI’s Punjab chapter, was adjourned until April 22. 

According to details, Rawalpindi Civil Judge Mumtaz Hanjra had sent Aliya and two workers to jail on judicial remand in a case of interference with the government and resisting the police. Two workers had been granted bail. After the initial proceedings, the bail application hearing was adjourned until 22 April. 

Civil Judge Mumtaz Hanjra issued a written order to send Aliya Hamza, Adil and Noman to jail on judicial remand. The two accused, Shamim Aftab and driver Muhammad Zahid, were granted bail. Both accused were directed to submit separate surety bonds of Rs25,000. The court summoned the case challan from the investigating officer for May 3.
