Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leader and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly (NA) Omar Ayub Khan on Thursday had to change his decision when the PTI’s parliamentary party opposed it, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources in the PTI told 24News TV channel that during the assembly session, Omar announced that he and other PTI MNAs would stage a walkout and would not enter the House until and unless all party detainees, including the former prime minister and the party founder Imran Khan, were released.
However, a majority of MNAs at the PTI’s parliamentary party meeting opposed the announcement, saying that they would first register their protest before walking out of the assembly hall, the sources informed.
