Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has warned that India will get a befitting response if it indulges in any misadventure like a false flag operation against Pakistan.
Addressing a news conference in Multan on Tuesday, the foreign minister said that Pakistan has information that the Indian government led by the Hindu nationalist BJP is planning to conduct a false flag operation in the Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and it is looking for an excuse to accomplish its nefarious designs. In case, it makes a mistake like it did on Feb 26, 2019, it should wait for a befitting response from Pakistan, he said.

Qureshi said that India can do anything in occupied Kashmir to divert world’s attention from its deteriorating economy. He said it was hoped that the Indian government would change its policy towards occupied Jammu and Kashmir after the coronavirus outbreak and Kashmiris would be given access to hospitals and medicines, but unfortunately it did not extend any relief to them.
