Ramazan moon likely to be sighted today, says weather office

The weather office predicted that the crescent moon, which marks the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, will likely to be sighted today (Saturday), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet in Peshawar today (Saturday) for sighting the Ramazan moon under the chairmanship of Chairman Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabeer Azad.
This year Eid-ul-Fitr is expected on May 3.
The crescent moon has been sighted in Saudi Arabia, authorities have announced and the holy month has begun on Saturday (April 2) in Saudi Arabia and Middle Eastern countries.
