Punjab CM inaugurates new Organized Crime Unit building in Lahore

For the upgradation of CIA centres along with police stations across Punjab, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Tuesday inaugurated a new building of Organized Crime Unit in Lahore and Sports Gymnasium of Police Training College in Chung, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Punjab Chief Minister inspected various departments of Organized Crime Unit Iqbal Town. The CM also observed the construction quality of the new building.
Chief Minister also inaugurated Model Police Station Ichhra and inspected the front desk, the waiting room, SHO and meeting rooms.
On the occasion, CM directed that police should behaving politely with public in police stations.
Earlier, Inspector General of Police gave a briefing about the construction of Police Station Ichhra and the facilities provided to the civilians. IG Police, Home Secretary, CCPO Lahore, DIG Organized Crime Unit and top police officials were present on the occasion.
Earlier, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi inaugurated the Sports Gymnasium of Police Training College in Chung.
The CM reviewed sports facilities provided for police trainees. Naqvi also inspected the swimming pool, gym, long tennis court and badminton court. Chief Minister also played badminton with Inspector General of Police Dr Usman Anwar. The CM also visited the mess, reviewed the facilities for the police under training.
On the occasion addressing the trainees at the Police Training College, Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said after completion of the training, the girls under the training of Police Training College will move to the field. Mohsen Naqvi recommended to all trainees to perform their duties with honesty and earn a halal livelihood for their families.
Mohsin Naqvi suggested the girls that if they intended to earn halal livelihood, then Allah Almighty will find a hundred ways to increase their sustenance.
Mohsen Naqvi hoped that young trainee will brighten the name of their family and Punjab Police by earning Haq Halal.
He said new police training college looked like a New York or Los Angeles police training center. Mohsin Naqvi said the credit for the upgradation of police stations went to IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, who transformed every police station in Punjab.
Mohsin Naqvi claimed that every police station had been transformed, but now they can also say, the police training centers had also been transformed.
