New Matric Tech programme to offer diverse subjects in academic session 2025-2026

In a significant development for students, the upcoming academic session 2025-2026 will introduce the Matric Tech programme, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.
This initiative will allow students to pursue a range of subjects beyond the traditional science and arts streams.
Under the Matric Tech program, students will have the option to enroll in various disciplines, including Matric Health Sciences, Agriculture Sciences, Fashion Designing, Information and Communication Technology, and Computer Science.
The first phase of this program involves preparing a list of schools where these new courses will be offered.
Following the Punjab Boards Committee of Chairman's meeting, the Multan Education Board will officially commence admissions to the Matric Tech program.
