LHC to hear bail plea of Khadija Shah on July 20

A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court will hear the bail petition of fashion designer Khadijah Shah tomorrow (July 20), the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
According to sources, the bench consisting of Justice Alia Neelam and Justice Shahram Sarwar Chaudhry has issued a notice to the authorities concerned and sought a reply on the bail application of the PTI activist allegedly involved in an arson case on May 9.
Sarwar Road police station has registered a case against Khadija Shah.
It is held in the petition that Shah is in jail on judicial remand and no investigation is required against her.
The plea further states that as against the claim of the prosecution, she was wrongly implicated in the case.
The lawyer requested that Shah’s bail be approved and an order be issued to release her.
