Federal Information Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb on Saturday said that PTI Chairman Imran Khan had tweeted a ‘fake’ picture to mislead people, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
She accused Imran of masterminding incidents of violence witnessed on May 9, and said that now when he feared arrest he condemned these nine days after they shocked the nation. “Mere condemnation is not enough,” she said, adding, “Imran will have to be held accountable for his deeds.”
She went on to say that even Pakistan's enemies could not commit the crimes which PTI workers had committed on that day. “There were jubilations all over India following attacks on military installations and monuments of the martyrs on May 9,” the minister recalled.
Marriyum asked the PTI chief to let police search his Zaman Park residence if terrorists were not hiding there.
