Twitter Poll: Majority stand by brave Bismah

A majority of the people in an online poll have seconded the brave girl who repulsed a robbery bid in Gujranwala yesterday.

According to the poll conducted by 24News HD TV channel on Twitter, 71 per cent of participants stood by Bismah’s act of bravery.

The university girl snatched a gun from a robber as he and his accomplice attempted to commit the crime. Pointing the gun at the thieves, the woman shouted at them as they pleaded for forgiveness in a video that went viral. 

Passersby gathered at the site and caught both the robbers and handed them over to the police. She was going to a bank with her mother when the two robbers tried to snatch the purse from the girl. You think women are weak, she asks as the perpetrators were taken into custody by police.
