All Hyderabad SHOs working hand-in-hand with criminals: AIG

Instead of addressing to a retirement ceremony, the Additional Inspector General of Hyderabad Region took a road less travelled and exposed Hyderabad Police on the exact date of his retirement.

AIG Hyderabad Ghulam Qadir Thebo wrote a letter to SSP Adeel Chandio stating that all SHOs and criminals of Hyderabad Police have been working hand in hand with criminals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

“You took no action against the ringleaders of criminals. In fact, you become a hindrance in the way of working officers,” he said that in a letter addressed to the SSP. “SHOs take monthly allowance from criminals,” the retiring AIG said in a bid to expose his subordinates working closely with criminals.

The letter from AIG Hyderabad stated that all the SHOs in Hyderabad and police are actually patrons of sellers of cannabis, ice and heroin. “Hyderabad police officers work closely with those involved in raw liquor, gambling and betting,” the letter reads, the TV channel said.

“People openly express their views on social media which is actually discrediting the police. Please take legal action and start investigation against all the officers and SHOs involved,” Ghulam Qadir Thebo concluded.
