Mohsin Naqvi rules out talks with PTI
IHC Chief Justice advises Interior Minister to engage PTI, find solution regarding placement of containers in federal capital

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that federal government was not holding talks with PTI and government will not allow protest it federal capital without its permission, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to media outside Islamabad High Court, after appearing before Islamabad High Court, Interior Minister said the government was not stopping PTI from protests in their respective areas. He said the government will not hold talks with PTI as it was not serious and was resorting to its bullying attitude.
He said that almost every day federal government remains in contact with KP government. He said timing of PTI protests in always meanful why they announce protest on dates when foreign delegations are due in Pakistan.
Earlier, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Amir Farooq has urged Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi to hold dialogue with PTI which had announced protest on November 24.
IHC Chief Justice was hearing a petition against PTI protest in Islamabad. IHC Chief Justice directed Interior Ministry to find the solution of the protest and placement of containers in federal capital. IHC Chief Justice remarked that what is the fault of the common citizen, tell us how government will deal with this situation? IHC Chief Justice admitted that such situation is disturbing for Interior Minister himself.
On the occasion, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi briefed the court that “President of Belarus is visiting Pakistan with a delegation, if the protests continue it will give bad image of country in the world”. Interior Minister further told the court that today 38 people have been martyred in Kurram district, tell the government whether it focus on law and order or on PTI protests.
Naqvi told the court, “the government can either provide FC to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or place it in Islamabad.”
Interior Minister made it clear that the government was not in favor of placing containers in Islamabad as government has to pay the price of it.
Naqvi said protest dates are announced when foreign delegation is coming to Pakistan. He said during last PTI protest, one of cops was martyred and more than 300 Afghanis were also detained. On the occasion, Advocate General Islamabad urged IHC to summon PTI leadership.
“I have already ordered, I will do something, Chief Justice Aamir Farooq replied. Islamabad High Court Chief Justice said the court has entertain such petition about protests in Islamabad. Justice Amir Farooq during the haring remarks that court usually does not summon ministers but now the situation is very complex. Chief Justice Aamir Farooq told Interior Minister to hold dialogue with PTI and Court will pass the order in this case. Inspector General of Islamabad Police and other senior officers and officials were present in the court.
