Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari said on Saturday categorically that if the PTI workers tried to disturb the law and order situation during the party’s public gathering at Kahna, Lahore to be held later in the afternoon today, the law would take its course, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore, she told the PTI leaders that they would have to wind up the event by six in the evening. “Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that the PTI has complete freedom to hold the rally,” she said, adding, “However, we will not allow you to take the law into your own hands. And if any May 9 suspect also attends the rally, he will be dealt with as per law.”

She wondered why the PTI approached the Lahore High Court (LHC) without submitting an application to the Lahore district administration for the rally.

Referring to the speeches made at the party’s rally at Sangjani, Islamabad on September 8, Azma said these were against the Pashtun traditions.

She accused KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur of using the provincial resources for the event. “Gandapur is bringing with him a Force with rods in their hands,” the minister alleged.

She asked Gandapur to list the PTI government’s achievements in KP during the last 11 years.

Azma said that PTI founder Imran Khan had guaranteed that Gandapur would offer an apology for the remarks he made at the rally in Islamabad.
